Reliance Power Unit wins 56-Million International Arbitration award
Reliance Power has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Reliance Power Netherlands BV has won an international arbitration award of $56 million (Rs 390 crore) against Prestige Capital Holdings & Kokos Jiang.

Lalchand Rajput appointed head coach of Zimbabwe cricket team
Former India opener Lalchand Rajput has been appointed as the head coach of Zimbabwe’s national team. Rajput played two tests and four ODIs for India and was a consistent performer for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy.

Asia Society, a global cultural organization announced that PepsiCo’s CEO Indra Nooyi will be honoured with the Game Changer of the Year title of the 2018 Asia Game Changer Awards in October 2018. Citi is the founding partner of Asia Society’s Asia Game Changer Awards.

Japan wins its first FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup title in France
Japan won its first FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup title at the La Rabine Stadium in Vannes, France. Japan defeated Spain 3-1 in the final and won its first FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

SBI expects 10% credit growth in FY19
State Bank of India said it has ‘set its house in order’ and the credit growth is expected to see 10 per cent growth by the end of the current fiscal. SBI Chairman Rajnish Kumar also said the bank is in the process of recruiting 8,000 people this year and hopes to also bounce back into profits from the current quarter as the major chunk of provisioning for bad loans was done in the first quarter.

Mohammad Irfan has set a new world record of being the most economical bowler in the T20 cricket while playing for Barbados Tridents in the ongoing 2018 Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

G20 Digital Economy Ministerial meeting
At the G20 Digital Economy Ministerial Meeting in Salta, in the north-west of Argentina, G20 ministers and senior officials issued a declaration that reflects the G20’s commitment towards promoting policies and actions that catalyze digital transformations. This Meeting was attended by 33 heads of delegation-Ministers, senior officials & representatives from invited countries and international organizations. India was represented by Union Minister for Electronics and IT & Law and Justice,Sh. Ravi Shankar Prasad.
